The Ash Tree

Does anybody remember the tree in Pocahontas? Mother Willow? Sometimes, I want a "Mother Willow" for myself, an actual tree like Pocahontas did, to help me with life problems and stuff. 

Hey, some girls want a Fairy Godmother, I want a tree. So what?

We had an Ash tree in our garden for years when I was a child. It was huge! In fact, I was named after it. True Story. I always wanted to climb it when I was younger. And when it was really warm and sunny, I would just sit under it eating an ice cream. It was right beside the road so for safety, a few branches had to be taken off it, which made it a bit smaller, but none the less, the same tree. 

After a few years, it had to be cut down completely. I reckon I was about 8 or 9, I think? I cried my eyes out watching it being cut down, and to this day, I don't even know why. I was inconsolable. 

Maybe I had some kind of secret bond with that tree, seeing as I was named after it and all. Maybe that tree was my Mother Willow.

This picture speaks to me so much but I'm not able to put most of the reasons into words because they only make sense in my head and not out loud, get me?

It saddens me though because that animal is clearly a wild animal, and it's behind glass, in captivity. Its paw against the glass is kind of like a cry for help really, it's trying to reach out some way or another but it can't because the glass is in the way. 

I don't see why animals get put in captivity. I mean, they have as much right to the Earth as us humans do. 

It just doesn't make sense.

Make It Happen

Everybody has a dream in life, absolutely everybody.

Well WHAT THE HELL are you doing just sitting around for, you have to MAKE IT HAPPEN! Most things are not going to come to you in a shiny box with a ribbon on it. 

It's going to take hard work and dedication to get what you want, but if you want it bad enough you'll work for it, you'll for it, you'll earn it, and you'll get it! Don't let anyone stand in the way of that, not even your inner demons (lets face it, we all have them too) 

So get out there and do something that's going to make you happy OK

Who Am I?

Who am I? 

It's a question I constantly ask myself. And the answer I always find is "I don't know."

But the truth is, I don't think anyone truly knows who they are just yet. 

Everything changes, and so do people. You can't define yourself even when life can't be defined. Nothing is definite. 

"Sometimes, you find yourself in the middle of nowhere and sometimes, in the middle of nowhere, you find yourself."

I've been in the same place for 17 years now, and I think 17 years is too long for the same place, same people. I want to get out of here, explore the earth and my mind. I want to experience new foods and new faces, new people and new places. I want to go on random voyages and find myself somewhere I've never been before. And hopefully, there, I'll find myself.
